Harvest 2008

The growing season and harvest have been quite unusual in 2008, with a dry start, late frosts and long heat spells, then a harvest spread over 6 weeks.

The Eagles have landed.

This year we have had a pair of Golden Eagles and a juvenile take up residence near the vineyard.

Barbara and Tony had a dream. They saw themselves as vineyard owners, relaxing on a veranda overlooking their vines, sipping their own wine as the sun set on another impossibly beautiful day in Sonoma County.

Then, in 2000, they bought what would become Puma Springs. Their fantasy soon gave way to the reality of intensely hard work. Instead of disappointment, they saw opportunity.
