USDA Organic - Demeter Certified Biodynamic

They saw themselves as vineyard owners, relaxing on a veranda overlooking their vines, sipping their own wine as the sun set on another impossibly beautiful day in Sonoma County.

Then, in 2000, they bought what would become Puma Springs. Their fantasy soon gave way to the reality of intensely hard work. Instead of disappointment, they saw opportunity.

With vineyards that had been chemically farmed for decades under their feet, they began the long, slow process of restoration, renovation and redemption for the soil.

And an amazing thing happened. They enjoyed it, got excited and embraced organic farming to the extent that they committed to the next step––Biodynamics™.

Today Puma Springs is a vital testament to a vineyard heading for Biodynamic certification. It is a living, thriving, constantly evolving piece of earth that produces some of the finest grapes in Sonoma County. For you see, Biodynamics is not only good for the earth and good for the environment; it helps produce exceptional wine grapes.

And you know where that leads.
